LXA, Learning Experience Alliance (formerly MarTech Alliance) is a business focused on providing educational experiences aimed at the marketing, sales and technology industries. They offer refreshingly engaging events, courses and resources to their community and take an approach that is decidedly anti-stuffy in order to break away from the conference norm.
While LXA are quick to point out their love for retro tech (floppy disks included!), their motto of ‘keep upgrading’ applies to both their brand and the events they organise. Always looking to improve attendee experience at their events, they bring in old-school tech and memorabilia to spark conversation and never fail to delight delegates with packets of Space Invaders and Sherbet Dip Dabs. This is before we even mention the meet-and-greets with Paco the Pug.
This carefully thought-out nostalgia provides the ideal vehicle to encourage attendees to relax and enjoy the event while upgrading their skills, knowledge, network and, subsequently, their career and business opportunities.
AntiConLX Global, held at Magazine, London, in July 2022, was a prime example of LXA’s event offering centred around the anti-con point of view. A host of exciting speaker sessions, including Steven Bartlett of ‘Diary of a CEO’ fame, alongside a great set of sponsors, provided education without seeming too forced. Over one thousand attendees cleared their diaries for the day and travelled from across the UK and beyond to attend in person.
